The Hard Hero Soundwave Bust stands 6” tall. This version of Soundwave looks like his animated counterpart. He’s bulky and square-outlined, armed with his massive shoulder cannon. The Decepticon emblem is raised along the opaque window of his chest-mounted cassette port. Soundwave is red-eyed and malignant, emotionless and cunning, one of the more sinister examples of a Decepticon.

Soundwave routinely monitors and records everything, even to the extent that he interprets brain waves, which makes him unpopular among his Decepticon cohorts. Despite his servile mannerisms, Soundwave is wrought with logic-driven avarice and ambition. Soundwave may not have many friends, but he does at least derive moral support from his cassette entourage, guys like Laserbeak, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Ratbat. The animated Soundwave was capable of ejecting the whole entourage in one solid deluge and dispatching them as an operational assault team.
