Star Wars Die Cast Metal Vehicles Titanium 3 Inch 2008 Wave 3: Jedi Starfighter

The first of the Eta-2 model Jedi starfighters was this exhibition model, demonstrated at a secret test facility in front of the Jedi Council. Featuring many of the system upgrades and mechanical tweaks suggested by Anakin Skywalker, the ships agility and speed even when controlled by a clone pilot impressed the Jedi observers. Unlike other Eta-2 starfighters; built on a production line; this ship was hand built, and included many personal touches left by the technicians and droids that assembled it. Though it never flew again, the ship ended up in the personal collection of Darth Vader following the collapse of the Republic.
