Friday Foster Tonner Dolls
Robert Tonner continues his tradition of being inspired by great pop-culture icons of the 20th century with his Friday FosterŪ Collection. Introduced in 1970, Friday FosterŪ was the first mainstream syndicated comic strip to feature an African-American woman. The strip told the story of Friday and her day to day world as a photo journalist. This also marks the first time Robert Tonner has explored the style of the 1970s in a primary fashion doll collection.
